Personal Style: Sheer Aztec and Lace

To be honest, blogging about my personal style never crossed my mind when I first started this blog.

The reason for this is because whenever I think about what to wear, I never actually think it through -- I just simply experiment with what I have and see what looks good on me.

This habit came from the fact that most of my clothes growing up were hand-me-downs given by family members. So you could just imagine the randomness of the clothes I receive in terms of style. ^^;

However, this particular outfit changed my mind because I realized that I had a bit more to say about it than my usual outfits. (Just a little bit, hehe!)

Let's start by talking about this unique Jermaine pullover that I bought from From the Racks, my favorite online thrifting shop to date.

I absolutely love the Aztec-like lace detail on the paneled sleeves of this pull over. It's so unique that I even have a hard time describing it. ^^; All I know is whenever I wear this, I can be absolutely sure that no one else would be wearing the same thing as I am. ^_^

To compliment the detailing on the pullover and to elongate my body as well, I wore my wish bone and Deathly hallows silver necklaces from Pretty Little Blings and the Veritaserum necklace gifted by Happy Organism.

And of course, because the typhoon season is here again, I wore these flood-proof wedge creepers that I bought from Scene Stealer (super affordable at only 700 pesos or 16 USD when converted, shipping included!) It was a great deal for these babies, if you ask me! :D

And as if the detailing wasn't enough, I also decided to wear my gray Aztec socks bought from Forever 21 to match the overall look!

What do you think of this look? ^_^ Do you think I should blog more about my personal style? Please leave a comment below to let me know!
